The Invitation

How awesome is our God? You are here, not by happenstance but by God’s exquisite plan. The members of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church extend a hearty welcome to you as you visit our virtual home. Feel free to peruse the pages of this site and discover who we are and what we believe.

Prayerfully, the information shared here will offer a means of support in your Christian journey. No matter where you may be in your spiritual walk, whether at the starting line, close to the finish, or somewhere in between, nourishment and encouragement can revive and sustain those who need and desire it, and that is what we hope to provide. Be sure to stop by often – this is a "living" website, undergoing daily updates. If there are any questions left unanswered, please contact us

Ecclesiastes 9:11 says,

Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong… but time and chance happen to them all.” – English Standard Version.

The lesson in this verse is that although we may possess great intellect, strength, wisdom, or skill, our successes lean heavily on being in the right place at the right time. With that being said, won't you consider worshipping with us? We promise that when you walk through our doors, you will be met by God’s love, and wherever His love abounds, that is the right place to be!

We ask that you please refrain from smoking on Mount Olive MBC's premises. We realize that it can be a challenge for some to go a few hours without smoking. If you feel the need, please use the park across the street. With that said, do not throw cigarette butts on the church grounds. Remember, we claim this church as "God's house" and we should treat it as such. Thank you.

As a courtesy, please put cell phones on mute/vibrate so that they don't cause a distraction during services.
